So our buddy Daniel S. Davis finished his second collection of Monster Commute. He requested that we get some video of when we opened the package and we were glad to oblige! After all, the man writes a good comic and is a great Graphic Designer! I think everybody (including myself) could learn a thing or two about packaging from him.

Duplicated Weasel

We worked really hard on the Sampler for Comic-Con. There was picking which comics to run, type corrections and a hundred other things. We printed them, folded, assembled and finally stapled them before boxing them up to ship to San Diego. It wasn’t until the next day when we noticed the problem, a comic that was duplicated. Not just duplicated, but because of the evil Gods of imposition, they were duplicated right next to each other!

When life give you lemons, you make lemonade.

Or, in this case, if you screw up and don’t catch it, make fun of it!

We’ve been working on the ThinkWeasel Samplers and business cards the past couple days. There are almost a couple hundred of each here. We need to get them finished up so they can be shipped out to San Diego for the convention so we don’t have to carry them on the flight.

This is the the first sign we did for Taqueria El Vecino. The other one went up in the blank sign slot to the upper right.

Logo in Progress

The comic is on hold until I can get more of this logo done (paying jobs get priority). On top of that, I’ve been dealing with sleeping problems. This is from Wednesday morning when I was up until around 4 a.m. Because of the lack of distractions, it’s amazing how much can be accomplished at that time of night. Too bad the lack of sleep part hurts so much!
