“Be careful what you wish for, you might get it.”

There are so many proverbs that speak of that both ways. Funny thing about life, with as complicated as it is, both ways apply once in a while.

This originally started as a journal comic and went to more silly over time. Recently, I’ve felt the need to swing it from less comedy to more journal-ey. The details are changed, but the basic ideas are there. Don’t worry funny will come back around soon enough!

Naturally, Dave Kellet did it better, but I felt like giving it a shot. I’ve been thinking about this sketch since the rains that passed through last week.

Change is always a constant and that includes this comic. I’m going to try this format out for a while and see how well it fits. There will still be funny, but there be some slightly more serious bits too. After all, isn’t life a little like that?

The average weasel (person) spends 2-3 years of their life waiting in lines, according to a study by MIT Professor Richard Larson. You find out more over at his site, Waiting in Line Sucks.

It makes me thing of how much total time in our lives do we spend doing other things? How much time sitting in traffic, or watching TV? I’m sure the information is out there, just waiting to be looked up.

One thing you won’t have to wait for is new comics.

This comic reflects some of my feelings on 2012; hope for the future, trepidation about all the crap carrying over from last year.

As the comic says, we’re taking a bit of a break here at Think Weasel! The weasels will return on Tuesday, November 22nd. Until then, we will be working on new ideas and comics for Think Weasel! as well as our new comic, the Awkward Ninja Squad! Stay tuned for updates on our progress!

The chipmunks have worn out their welcome and sometimes a Weasel needs to show them who’s boss!

Chipmunks can be a cute addition to any back yard menagerie. Of course, they can go from cute to annoying depending on where they set up housekeeping!
