Here’s a bit of our favorite weasel monsters in prep for this coming week’s comics!

Here’s is a sketch I played with when working the Nashville Comic & Horror Festival. All of the characters are based on people seen on the Convention floor except one, can you guess which one?

Here’s a collection of random weasel I’ve been scribbling lately!

This one was pretty fun to draw. I came up with the idea this afternoon at work, then finished it after getting home. It turned out so well that I even went back and shaded Tuesday’s comic1 There is a lot going on in the one that refers back to previous comics, did you catch them all?

Having trouble keeping up with the schedule this week. I plan to do a couple quick ones this week so I can get caught up.

Update 8/24/11: I came back today and did some marker shading on the sketch. The new one is scanned and up!

It all started with a hanging lamp. I was messing around late a few nights ago and decided to see where this sketch would go. Well, here you go, strangeness and all!

I did a sketch of some random llamas a while back, so I thought it was time for some random weasels!

Here are some sketch cards that have been finished up for Heroes Con. If things go well this well this week, there will be some more updates before this weekend.

Time to get back the swing of things, here’s a bit of the crowd in between things.

Llamas, llamas EVERYWHERE! I thought it would make a good sketch, I think I was right.

Still messing around with some brush pens. Working on controlling the line as well as drawing various people.

This week you have seen taxes, then there was another that cannot be avoided (in the South at least), pollen. Now is the final constant we all must face…DEATH!

Well, sort of, in this particular case.

I was pretty tired that day and was pretty close to skipping this month’s Drink & Draw, I’m glad I didn’t.

The basic concept I have for the Sunday Sketch is to challenge myself in some way with the drawing and/or to practice with marker shading. I’ve been wanting to do some fan art for the other artists’ I enjoy and this felt like a good match. Monster Commute is a great comic by Daniel S. Davis and I hope he gets a giggle from this! Just remember, the art is my work, but the characters and concepts are the copyright of Mr. Davis (no, not the Garfield one).

I scanned the comic before shading it, just in case I hammered it. I’m debating which on I like better, what do you think?
