I worked on some sketch cards while at the table during Heroes Con, here are some of them.

I originally intended to do a comic based on this joke last Thursday. Sadly, it never came into being, but I still wanted to post something about it since the idea amused me so much!

It’s Cinco de Mayo and you know what that means; It’s another country’s holiday where we can drink! Woo hoo!

The past couple weeks have been difficult, but things are finally calming down. In don’t know how it is for anybody else, but it’s hard to be funny (or even on schedule) when I’m feeling sick or stressed the heck out. Eh, it happens in everybody’s life at some point.

I plan to have things back on the normal schedule by next week. The will be a comic or sketch up this weekend to make up for Tuesday’s strip.

We’ll be back to our regular lunacy shortly. Until then, here is a sketch of the Think Weasel cast!

Here are a couple sketches from the Drink and Draw at the Mellow Mushroom last night. The models wore super hero costumes, which was pretty interesting. It was a lot of fun and I realized it’s been a long time since I last did life drawing!

I plan on going again next month, if DragonCon doesn’t take too much outta me. Since I was so out of practice, it was pretty frustrating sometimes. Still, I remembered two things:

1. The Practice Highway goes through Suckville before it gets to Excellent City.
2. I’ve already tired quitting out of frustration. You know what it accomplishes? Nothing.

It was a long day at work. Since it left me in an even stranger mood than usual, I present to you today’s sketch.

Heroes was a great Convention and we had a lot of fun.

I’m still fighting off what Angela been down with for the past week. Since I don’t know how I might be feeling in the next few days, I’m gonna hold off on starting the next story arc and do a sketch or two. They will still be funny and fill in some bits on the story, they will just take less time on my part. If I’m able, there will be another sketch up Saturday.
