I realized something funny as I posted this comic. Even sitting around on the couch, reading the Sunday funnies is a bit of an anachronism. Like wearing a wrist watch, it’s something that people below a certain age just don’t do anymore.
I used to love reading the comics. I just don’t ever get the newspaper anymore b/c I dont’ want to waste the paper…
it’s not a waste if you recycle or take them to your local vet or animal shelter.
We also like to use the funnies as wrapping paper.
If I could get all the coverage I want in ONE spot online, I’d go with the trend and get my news online, but the sad fact is that it takes about 3x longer to run all over the interweb to find the appropriate news stories than to peruse the print paper. The AJC ain’t all that, but even so, they are even less online. All the API and other newsfeeds are not easily found online. So, we still get the paper Th-Su.
I gotta hit the road.
